When the T-1000 and the T-101 are fighting in the mall, the T-1000 throws the T-101 out the window. There's is an image of someone taking pictures in the background. That person is the person responsible for writing both movies.

When the trio of Arnie, Jon & Sarah Connor stop for a bite to eat on the way to Mexico they stop at a place called "Cactus Jack's". A very early and therefore poor Arnie film was called Cactus Jack starring Kirk Douglas in the title role.
