Rise of the Planet of the Apes Easter Egg - More Original Movie References (SPOILER ALERT)

At one point on the movie there is a brief shot of a TV. If you listen carefully he says something about a rocket launch to get to Mars.

Also later on in the movie you see a newspaper, and the headline reads "LOST IN SPACE."

If you have seen the original movie you will know that these are references to when the astronauts get launched to Mars and get lost on another planet (turns out to be Earth in the future).
