Hot Fuzz Easter Egg - References to Other Cop Movies

Sgt. Popwell, who Nicholas replaces in Sandford, is named after the racially abused policeman in DIRTY HARRY

Towards the end of the film, a helicopter flies over Nicholas and Danny's head, a reference to BAD BOYS 2. Another reference to Bad Boys 2 is the line "This Sh*t Just Got Real" which is said by Martin Lawrence in BB2 and by Nicholas on the phone to Frank in HF.

At the end when Frank is running away and Danny tries to shoot him but fires the gun into the air and screams is a reference to POINT BREAK
