King Kong (2005) Easter Egg - Sumatran Rat Monkey
In the first scene we see of the bowels of the Venture there are many cages shown that are used to hold various animals. A sign on one of them clearly reads 'Sumatran Rat Monkey,' which, as any Peter Jackson fan would know, is the creature that bit poor old Lionel Cosgrove's mum in Dead Alive, causing her to become a zombie.
