One of the most notable scenes in the movie was the concert of Diva Plavalaguna. Where did Luc dig that unusual name from?

Milla's father is from Serbia, and in Serbian language "Plava Laguna" stands for "Blue Lagoon". One of first Milla's movies (first in which she played the lead role) was Return to the Blue Lagoon. Apparently, this movie was Milla's breakthrough, and Milla's influence to Luc was already so big that he changed the screenplay for her.

Interesting thing is that pronunciation of the word Plavalaguna happened to be the same in both English and Serbian language.
