REX 3 and REX 5 Easter Egg - A Star Is Born!

The REX line of PDAs was an interesting attempt to compete with Palm Pilots. The device itself is the size of a credit card, and fits into the PCMCIA slot of your laptop or computer (or you can use a special docking station). Data viewing (and data entry on the REX 5) is done via 5 or 6 buttons on one side of the device.

The Easter egg is a notice of the release date of the device. On a freshly reset device (i.e. no other data entered into it) go to March 23, 1994 on the device calendar. You will see an entry called "A Star is Born!". This was the development team's way of celebrating the release of the device.
