ReplayTV personal video recorder Easter Egg - Secret Menu

While watching live TV, press 2, 4, 3, then before the channel changes- press ZONES. You will then be taken to the secret menu. Here you can view the CPU meter, System Clock, force service connection, partition the Hard Drive, and clear channel guide information.

This is a cool egg, but don't mess with it unless you know what you're doing! This is really a technician's menu. You can find in on TVs, too, but I don't know the codes.

The "Net Connect" selection in this secret menu has been unbelievably useful. This feature allows you to force a connection to the server to rebuild/refresh your Channel Guide. Doing this can never hurt, but I've actually found it useful. Not infrequently, my box has trouble connecting for a couple days in a row and the Channel Guide becomes no longer valid...When I finally notice this, it's very handy to be able to force the connection instead of having to wait for it to connect automatically at 3am that night.

This isn't an egg. I found out about this last year when I needed to force connection. It's in the faq's on the replay tv support on their website.
