In the Movie when Hercules is getting his picture painted on a vase he is wearing a lion fur. If you look closely when he takes it off you can see that the fur is Scar from the Lion King.
During the song "I won't say I'm in love" the Muses are seen as busts, singing. This is a reference to the "Haunted Mansion" tour, where five busts are singing "Grim Grinning Ghosts."
Disney is known for adding little bits from other movies into the new movies. In Aladdin when the Sultan is building his little tower of animals, if you look closely, you'll see a figurine of the Beast from Beauty and the Beast. It's just something that Disney does, not an egg at all.

Disney are sellouts to themselves. Even though it is clever, it is extremely easy to figure that out. When I first watched it, it only took me a second to realise it. But it is none the less still clever.

hey its like a game to all the Directors they basicly try and get away with as much as they can! But they are often more caught than they are gotan away with ;)!

I'll dispute that. Although he's very similar, didn't Scar have a scar mark across one of his eyes? The lion in the picture shown doesn't.
To be truthful, I haven't seen that movie in probably somewhere near a decade, so I can't be 100% sure.

That's because in all Disney movies there are usually at least a few references to other movies. If you look closely, they are all over the place in ones like Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Beauty and the Beast.
