Life Easter Egg - Harlem Night Life

The movie Life stars Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence playin two New York bootleggers convicted of bootlegging and murder.

In the scene where Ray Gibson (Eddie Murphy) is fighting the big guy named Goldmouth, Ray takes a nice little beating and after being knocked down gets up and makes the statement "I know a b**ch named Dela that hits harder than you!".

This is a reference to another film starring Eddie Murphy called Harlem Nights, in which Eddie also plays a more successful New York Bootlegger, in roughly the same time period life begins in.

In the movie there is a scene where Quick (Eddie Murphy) gets into a brawl with a woman, who gives him quite a fight before he blows off her pinky toe! This woman is none other than actress Dela Reese.
