White Ladder (David Gray) Easter Egg - Hidden Track with a Twist

This is a new way of hiding a track on a CD. On singer-songwriter David Gray's CD 'White Ladder', the hidden track is before the first track, rather than at the end. To get to it, start the CD playing on track 1 'Please forgive me', and press rewind. If your player can handle it, you should be able to rewind about three minutes or so back beyond the beginning of track one and play a complete hidden song. While the track plays, my CD player shows the time as 00:00 all the way through.

This is a cool track - sounds like a rough cut though, maybe one that wasn't up to the quality of the rest of the album??? I found it by playing it on my PC.

This track was quite good. It wasn't the best track on the CD, but still, it was catchy. Recommended.

This is an excellent way of hiding a track, however, it is not "new." I've seen it done a few times before...the only one that comes to mind right now is X Files Songs in the Key of X

The bad thing for the US version is that it doesn't have this Easter Egg.

The track at the end of David Gray's album, "White Ladder," is called something like "Can't Get Through To Myself." I think this is a great track, not one of the best, but still great enough.
