L.A. Story Easter Egg - "Oh Pointy Birds!"

In L.A. Story, Steve Martin tries to prove his love for Victoria Tennant by reciting a poem that begins: "Oh Pointy Birds, Oh Pointy, Pointy..."

This is a poem that originally appeared in Martin's 1982 film "The Man with Two Brains." It was the favorite poem of he and his late wife.

Every once in a while Pointy Birds or Dillon's Grove pop into my head, usually in a public place, and I bust out laughing like an idiot, or look stupider trying to hold it back.
