Pokemon Easter Egg - Pikachu Jig

1. When at Cerulean City, jump over a ledge, left to the Misteys gym. make sure pikachu's still on the other side of the ledge.

2. Wait for a few seconds & pikachu should start wagging it's tail very fast.

3. now it will jump around, and spinning at the same time, now you have done the pikachu jig!

Actually, this will work at any ledge in the game. Pikachu does a series of moves in a random order: marching in place, the can-can, turning in place, and jumping up and down.

Pikachu will dance even when you're not separated by a ledge. It'll just dance slower.

In certain spots if you let Pikachu start dancing, and you start walking, Pikachu will actually float in air for a few seconds. It works at quite a few places, for sure it happens in front of the Pokémon center in Fushia City. All you have to do is jump over the hedge, let Pikachu start dancing, then start to walk. Pikachu will float behind you.

I heard that if you leave Pikachu on the top of the ledge for 24 hours, he will run away. I have never tried it though. I might do so some time with my AC adapter.

This is as much an egg as telling people to stop moving with a character on almost any game, then saying the fact they move about while waiting is an egg. Hey look! Sonic waves his finger at you! I found an Eegg!
