I can barely make out the lyrics on this, even with the volume turned WAY up. As far as I can tell: "Somewhere over the rainbow/Way up high/There's a life (?) that I dreamed of/Once ...", then the rest is unintelligible. I think I can hear him say, "Thank you" a few seconds later though. Anyone know exactly what the lyrics are?

I distinctly heard him say "Serve the beast for money, hail Lionel Ritchie"

It's a song by Judy Garland, probably from "The Wizard of Oz" Lyrics (and an "instrumental" version) can be found on http://members.tripod.com/AP2005/rainbow.html

The song is "Over the Rainbow" from the Wizard of Oz. Look up the words, it's a standard. Phil Collins notes that he recorded this just before Lennon was shot, and was quite spooked by the coincidence. It's hardly a secret.
