Drowning By Numbers Easter Egg - The Hidden Numbers

Each scene of the movie "Drowning By Numbers" by the British director Peter Greenaway, contains a number, 1 - 100. In some scenes, the numbers are rather obvious, in others you have to pause the movie to see the image long enough to find the numbers. The numbers correspond to the storyline, which follows. Three women, three different ages, all with the same name, all married, all kill their husbands. The county coroner wants to sleep with them all so in return for the promise of sexual favors the coroner fakes the death certificates for the women. However, the women never put out, the community condemns them and forms a lynch mob to kill them. As well, the coroner's son commits suicide amidst his road kill and bug collection. Have fun!!
