Northern Exposure Easter Egg - Episode When Joel Goes Home

In the episode when Maggie and Joel are searching for a missing city with a very obscure map, they run into "Adam" at the gaurd house of a bridge.
Adam Arkin had already begun starring in Chicago Hope at the time. When Maggie and Joel ask him for directions, he snaps "What do I look like, a brain surgeon?" which is exactly what he is on Chicago Hope. Later in the same scene, he calls Joel "Quiz Show Boy" because Joel solves a clue on the map. Around that time Joel was starring in the movie, Quiz Show. Kinda typical NE, man I miss that show!
