The Lorax (2012) Easter Egg - Ted and Audrey

In the movie the Lorax (which is based on a book by Dr. Seuss published in 1971) Two of the main characters names are based on real people. Ted (Wiggins) the boy who goes to see the Once-ler about Trees and Audrey the girl that he loves and wants to get the tree for. The special thing about this is that Dr.Seuss' real name Is Theodor (TED) Seuss Geisel. After Dr. Seuss first marriage ended because his first wife Helen died in 1967 Geisel then marries his longtime friend Audrey Stone Diamond. In real life Audrey Geisel has produced a few movies, One being Horton hears a who (also based on a Dr. Seuss book) and 2012 The Lorax
