Gears of War 3 Easter Egg - Mad World in Gridlock

In the Gridlock multiplayer stage, there are many "ash people;" frozen in the place they died when the Hammer strikes hit in the Gears of War timeline. A single touch or bullet will cause an ash person to break and fall into a pile of ash. In most multiplayer matches, this will usually happen either accidentally through the battle, or intentionally by more sadistic players.

If you manage to finish a round without harming a single ash person, shortly after the next round a piano version of the song Mad World will play (the same version from one of the campaign's most emotional scenes)! Fitting, since this map is one of the most popular from the original Gears of War, and the song was used in that game's commercial.
