Super Mario Sunshine Easter Egg - Il Piantissimo's True Identity
Il Piantissimo is seen throughout the game as a poorly disguised man dressed as a Pianta. He races Mario trying to prove he is the best. HOWEVER, underneath the mask is a familiar face, especially if you are a Zelda fan. Il Piantissimo's real face resembles the Marathon Man from Ocarina of Time who also challenged the main character to a race.
