Twilight Zone the Movie Easter Egg - I've Seen Him Somewhere

During the begening of the third segment, (The Good Life,) the omnipotent little kid goes to a roadside gas station. Inside the gas station are two rednecks playing a video game if I recall. One of the Rednecks is Bill Mummy, who played the same kid in the original television version of The Good Life.

In this segment, the boy's sister, Ethel, is none other than Nancy Cartwright. Otherwise known as the voice of Bart Simpson!

And let us not forget the mouth-less girl was none other than Cherie Curie, singer for The Runaways, one of the very first female rock bands.

The boy's uncle in this movie, played by Kevin McCarthy (with the grey hair), also appeared in several episodes of the original TV series of "The Twilight Zone", as did Bill Mumy (Bill Mumy appeared in three).

If I recall, there was an avalanche of references to Serling's original creation at the beginning of the third segment. Kathleen Quinlan, in asking for directions, references everything from "Beaumont" (Charles Beaumont who scripted many of the original episodes) to Cliffordville (The episode "Of Late I Think of Cliffordville" starring Albert Salmi and Julie Newmar. Doesn't much matter, however, as I'm sure Serling rolled in his grave endlessly as Spielberg and Co. tarnished his creation...

Actually, the rednecks are watching television and the boy, Anthony, is the one who is playing the video game, Tempest.
