In the level Patients Are a Virtue you can find 3 old friends from Little Big Planet 1. The old friends are The King, Frida, And Kid In Car; they all appear at the end of the level.

Additionally, the bouncer that was a sidekick to the boss of the construction levels, AND the Collector are in this level. The bouncer is holding a rabbit, near the beginning. The Collector is holding a red, hot dog shaped balloon, a little later.
