Josh Brolin Easter Egg - Josh Brolin - Templeton HS Alum

In the movie "No Country For Old Men", Josh's character is injured in Mexico and is trying to cross back over the border checkpoint. He asks some teenagers he meets if he can buy the jacket one of them is wearing. As he has the jacket on and is seen walking away, the back of the jacket says "Templeton Eagles", the mascot of Templeton High School, which he attended. I don't know if he graduated from THS, but I've also heard that in another of his movies he wore a cap with the logo from Templeton Grain and Feed, a local, prominently seen business on Templeton's main street. Templeton is a small (about 9,000) town north of San Luis Obispo, CA. At this serious moment in a tense film, most of us in the theaters in this Central Coast area saw the jacket and broke out into laughter at the reference.
