The Saboteur Easter Egg - Assassin's Creed Reference in the Saboteur

Later in the new game, The Saboteur, the player will earn a car named "Altair" also nicknamed "The Flying Eagle". For fans of the Assassin's Creed line of games the name of the character in the initial Assassin's Creed game was also Altaïr. His full name , Altaïr ibn La-Ahad, translates in Arabic to "The Flying One" or "Bird of Prey" which could be referenced to the Altair car's nickname.

The name Altair has been used since medieval times. It is an abbreviation of an Arabic phrase (English: The flying eagle). This is not a reference to assassin's creed.
