On the mission "Battery" where you have to open the launcher BIOS case, if you touch the launcher, Sam will mention that he "forgot his crowbar." Then Grimsdottir will mention that crowbars are for "geeky video game characters." This is a reference to Gordon Freeman from the half-life series, Gordon's trademark weapon is a crowbar.
