Monkey Island 1 *Special Edition* Easter Egg - A Grim Fate

A completely new egg has been added to the special edition of The Secret of Monkey Island, referencing yet another Lucas Arts game that was released after the original Secret of Monkey Island was made.

After you have found your way through the Hellish catacombs to where LeChuck and his crew have their ship docked you will find this egg.

There are many skulls of men and monkeys bursting forth from the strips of rock in the foreground, and if you look closely toward the bottom of the strip of rock closest to the left of the screen, you will see the head of Manuel "Manny" Calavera peering through the skulls.

Manny was the main protagonist in the Lucas Arts game "Grim Fandango" released 8 years after the original Secret of Monkey Island.
