Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, The Easter Egg - Pink Floyd Reference

In the scene when the red space ship crashes on the Vogon planet, there is a sound of a plane crashing. That sound is the same one used on Pink Floyd's The Wall. Its played at the end of the song "in the flesh?".
One thing to note is that Douglas Adams, the books writer, was a friend of the band and even came up with the name for their album The Division Bell
