Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Easter Egg - I Like Ike

In the scene that Indiana Jones presses the button to set off the nuclear missile, it shows the missile about to set off. If you look closely, it says on the missile "I LIKE IKE". This is a reference to the start of the movie where the doctor says "Have any last words?" and Indy says "Yeah. I Like Ike."

probably a reference to Dwight Eisenhower? Who was president. It wasn't uncommon to write patriot things on missiles.

Do you mean the A-bomb scene? Indy doesn't press a button! Why would he go around pressing random buttons, he's smarter than that!

It wasn't a reference to the missile, it was a reference to Dwight Eisenhower's famous campaign slogan. Eisenhower was president from 1953 to 1961, which is the time frame Crystal Skull would have been set in. Indy's line was nothing more than him declaring his love for his country against the red menace.
