Young Frankenstein Easter Egg - Mary Shelley's Frankenstein
In the scene where Frankenstein is lecturing at the university, the student's question about Darwin's vermicelli is word-for-word a quote from Mary Shelley's introduction to Frankenstein about something that inspired her to write the book: "Darwin... kept a piece of vermicelli in a glass case until..." etc. This is a fun egg intended as a tribute to the original creator of Frankenstein.
