At the begining of the movie, you will see many frames passing by.One of them says something about Stark Industries.
Then, a litle bit after that, it says something about Nick Fury, a comic book character that talked to Tony Stark at the nd of Iron Man.
And, obviously, Tony Stark talks to the general at the end.
