Star Wars Episode 6: Return of the Jedi Easter Egg - Tantive IV in Battle of Endor?

I'm not sure if this is an egg. There is an extremely brief shot of the Tantive IV, or a ship of the same design, in the Battle of Endor. The ship was introduced in Episode III (Bail Organa's vessel), captured by an Imperial Star Destroyer at the beginning of Episode IV (the famous opening scene with Leia and the stolen Death Star plans on-board), but somehow survives until Episode VI. I can imagine why George Lucas might have inserted the ship (for sentimental reasons) near the end of the 3rd movie - remember, this was to complete the trilogy at the time.

Nice try, but what you spotted was just another Corellian blockade runner. I'm sure, though that they used the same model, considering the paint is relatively the same, though I doubt they meant it as the Tantive IV.

I submitted the "egg" and photos. I can agree with kronosoldone. In the first photo, if enlarged, you can actually make out 2 such ships. I tried! Does anyone actually know what ever happened to the real Tantive IV after Episode IV?

the Tantive IV was destroyed after Darth Vader captured, he claimed that it was destroyed in an asteroid storm. Also, it probably appears in episode VI so they could save time and money by not having to make more models.

This is not an egg, it's called a Corellian corvette. play Star wars battlefront 2, they use them as frigate defenses on space levels.
