Sherlock Holmes: Nemesis Easter Egg - Batman in the 19th Century?

In the game, Sherlock Holmes must take a picture of a bat in a dungeon room in the Tower of London, so that the flash will stun it and allow it to be captured. Dr. Watson states that Holmes also got a good picure of a bat in the deal. When the picture is shown, the shadow of the bat cast on the back wall is none other than the Bat-signal! Holmes then asks what he would do with a picture of a bat, to which the Tower guard replies, "Give it to Sergeant Wayne. It's his camera." Could Sergeant Wayne be Bruce Wayne in the 19th century? Or an ancestor?
