There's an egg here on the site already for Jann Wenner's appearance in "Almost Famous".

What people sometimes don't catch - because it's a quick scene in the front of the movie when all the agents are doing an early meeting - is that Jann Wenner (who was director Crowe's first employer @ Rolling Stone) is also the big shot Agent in Charge at SMI, sitting at the head of the table.
