The instructions are wrong; you need to be in the Languages submenu, not Subtitles. On the Subtitles submenu, moving right (or left) from English just moves the highlight to Russkie (in Cyrillic -- it looks like "PYCCNE", with a backwards "N", which is the Cyrillic letter Ishe and equivalent to a Latin I).
