According to the commentary, that's not true, yes Jackie Chan's first movie was Rumble in the Bronx, but the movie playing in the Chinese restaurant is not Rumble in the Bronx, it is a clip from Indiana Jones (not sure which one), if you have the DVD or Blu-Ray, play the commentary track when watching the movie, they clearly say the clip is from Indiana Jones (they talk about how they allowed New Line Cinema to use the clip)
