Hot Wheels Madd Propz 2004 1st Edition Easter Egg - Hot Wheels Madd Propz 1st Edition
The Hot Wheels Madd Propz 1st Edition diecast spitfire-like biplane of 2004 has a secret, humorous message, which is placed below the "77" (which is in turn below the "SM4709") on the left wing of the model plane! It is written in extremely small font, and is disguised as lettering or numbering addorned on the racing-like plane. The entire message fits into a size of less than half a square cm (maybe 0.3? 0.4?), and it was obviously not supposed to be easily read by everyone.
It reads first in small bold capital letters, "Do not stand here", and directly underneath in an even smaller size, "If you can read this type you possibly have way too much free time and you should consider getting a hobby like [sic] flying an airplane just for the heck of it. It might start you thinking about trying new things. Who knows, you might just be the next real flying ace."
This is most likely a stab at consumers who buy Hot Wheels products, who are being likened (and with arguably good reason) to having too much free time, with which they waste , instead of having an active lifestyle and trying new things.
