Grand Theft Auto 3 Easter Egg - Manhunt Reference

*Get into any car that has a radio

*Tune to station Flashback 95.6

*If you've played Manhunt then you'll probably notice this...

*Wait and listen awhile till Toni (the DJ on the radio station) mentions the Liberty Tree.

*She will say that in Carcer City, (Where Manhunt takes place) a neighboring city, Gary Schaeffer (the corrupt cheif of police in Manhunt) was arrested for
corruption and several killings of people.

*What is ironic is that Grand Theft Auto was released in mid 2001 whist Manhunt was released in late 2003. Weird huh...

Gary Schaeffer is the corrupt police chief in Manhunt, yes. BUT, did you ever consider that Rockstar Games put Gary in Manhunt, because GTA 3 had him in it? I think that is the main reason. Or maybe Manhunt was in the works, so they just put a refference in GTA 3. Maybe.
