Hotel California (Eagles) Easter Egg - Possible Hidden Message?

There's supposedly a hidden message in this song. At the beginning of the song, it says "On a dark desert highway, cool wind in my hair, Wurn Snell of Colitas, rising up through the air..." The reason for this is because there was supposedly a fireworks store out near the Hotel California that blew up. Every one inside managed to live, except for a man by the man of Wurn Snell, who was born somewhere in a town called Colitas. I reas this somewhere and decided to relisten to the song. To me, it makes perfect sense. You be the judge.

Um, the lyrics are actually, "Warm smell of colitas". What colitas are is open to debate but Don Henley has been sited describing it as a desert flower. Which makes sense. The warm scent of desert flowers on the air.

Literally the word colita means, "Little Tail". A lot of times 'colita' refers to a bud on a marijuana plant.

Hahaha, Wurn Snell??? The lyrics are warm smell of colitas. Colita is a species of wild buckwheat that grows in Arizona and a couple other states in the southwest. People also use it, (not very often), to refer to marijuana. Wurn Snell is something somebody made up to act like they know something.
