Species III Easter Egg - Year of the Chromosome

In the ending of Species III, Sara and her newly created "boyfriend" were walking across the bridge and the camera panned up to see "1902" carved on it. This was the year that Walter Sutton published a paper on Chromosome theory of heredity. Where cell division that produces sperm and egg cells, each sperm or egg receives only one chromosome of each type. (In other parts of the body, cells have two chromosomes of each type, one inherited from each parent.)
This is significant because Dean was telling his buddy that he created him Sterile.
