Lord of the Rings: The Third Age, The Easter Egg - Trolls from 'The Hobbit'

While exploring Eregion, you may come across some stone trolls with either treasure chests behind them or in front of them. This is homage to Trolls in 'The Hobbit' by J.R.R. Tolkien (the creator of The Lord of the Rings), which were turned to stone by the sun. If you have read the book, you know that Bilbo, the dwarfs, and Gandalf looted the Trolls' treasure afterwords. I found this on the PS2 version, and I don't know if it is on any other system.
