Star Trek: The Next Generation Easter Egg - The Little Rascals
In the TNG episode "Qpid," Captain Picard is stressing over his impending speech before a group of archeologists soon to arrive on the Enterprise-D.
He refers to "Switzer and McFarland" as "giants in the field of archaeology."
That line was a tip of the hat to Carl "Alfalfa" Switzer and George "Spanky" McFarland.
