Age of Empires III Easter Egg - Learicorn

1. Go to the Learn to Play tutorial.

2. Instantly resign

3. The map will show itself entirely and without fog of war. There is only one enemy unit to the right of the map, a cheat unit named Learicorn.

Learicorn apparently has pretty good stats and is a cheat unit, so it's impossible to get it in an ordinary game or campaign.

There is a way to get to him and defeat him. If you Stop doing the tutorial around the time you get settlers, train lots of them (And soldiers if you can build a barracks) build a Dock, get a ship and sail them all over to the northeast. If you try and drag them up north you will eventually reach him. As you get close it will make a wind chimes noise. It is hard to fight him, but if you have plenty of settlers he goes down like a charm. You get lots of XP for it. Unfortunatly, its pretty pointless. But fun none the less..

I got this guy seen first at this mission also. It was a pure mistake, I just wanted to explore around. He can be unlocked with a cheat-like function, You just go to Scenario Editor. Put any kind of unit there, then go to Objects. You must control the unit still then. While you do, press the "Replace Unit" command. This can replace him to anyone on the list. If you want, scroll the list and find Learicorn. You will now control Learicorn himself!
