Doctor Doolittle Easter Egg - A Tribute to the Original

In the scene when Eddie Murphy goes to the circus to talk with the sick tiger (voiced by Albert Brooks) in its cage, you can see animals walking around in the background. One animal that walks by is the "Push-me Pull-you", a two-headed llama with a head on each end of its body. This fictional animal was featured prominently in the original 1960's version of Doctor Doolittle, featuring Rex Harrison in the title role.

And at the end, you can see a poster at the circus for a giant sea snail, also in the first movie.

The version with Eddie Murphy barely has anything to do with the book, and doesn't have any animals from the book besides the walk by as mentioned in the egg.
