Hostel Easter Egg - Pulp Fiction

You can see in the scene when the guys first enter the hostel that the TV on the back is playing Pulp Fiction. It must be there because Tarantino produces the movie.

Im not too sure if this is a proper egg, because the tv is actually looked at on its own with a clear scene from pulp fiction. The TV is not in the playing in the background or anything. Or does this not matter?

I think also you'll find the scene of pulp fiction has foriegn voice overs, and the shot is of the TV and nothing else.
