Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory Easter Egg - Directors Kids

Mel Stuart, the director of Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory rewarded his daughter, Madeline Stuart, for coming up with the idea of the film. Her reward was a part in Charlie's class as an extra. Her brother, Peter Stuart, can also be seen in the film. (He's the kid that tells the teacher about the golden tickets!)

Well considering the post was under Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and the movie you are thinking of isn't named that, its a safe bet he means the first film.

Of course he means the "old one." The Tim Burton movie is called "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," reverting to the name of Roald Dahl's book.
