Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace Easter Egg - What? An Ewok?!

In the poster, near the words "STAR WARS" there is an ewok. Not all posters have him though. Now whats with the ewok? This is episode 1 not 6! He's visible in many places in the movie too.

Frankly, I don't think that's real. www.ihatestarwars.com had a little think with the ewok on the poster, but I've NEVER seen it and I've seen hundreds of different copies of the poster (i was on a US road trip when the movie came out so I've seen it in almost every state)

who's to say Ewoks don't exist in Episode 1? TPM probably happened (just a guess people) some 40-50 years before Episode 6.. look at some of the Ewoks in episode 6.. some of em look old.. not like it was a new species...

I've heard of this before, but I've never actually seen the poster. As for the Ewalk being in the movie. I'm a huge fan of the 1138 thing and have gone through the movie tons of times and never seen him. But.. who knows maybe he's there. I don't know.
