As soon as the movie begins, start timing. At exactly 42 minutes into the movie, Deep Thought tells the crowd that The Answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything is 42.

true, it isn't an egg. but the funny part (and probably the reason it was posted) is that it was FORTY TWO minutes into the movie that he revealed the answer as forty two. it clearly states that in the posted egg - read more carefully next time :-P
