Maverick Easter Egg - Lethal Weapon

In the scene, when Marverick (Mel Gibson) is in the Bank , the bank is robbed by Danny Glover,
Mel´s partner in "Lethal Weapon".
Maverick seems to know him but he tells that could´nt be... you´ll hear a sound similar to LW.
Later Danny Glover says he´s too old for this... like in Lethal Weapon.
I think the guys opening the safe are Richard Donner (director) and Corey Feldman (another famous actor)

This reference to Lethal Weapon is obvious that I'm not sure I even consider it to be an easter egg. But yes, it's there! Also, the other two bank robbers: One of them is a very popular country music artist by the name of Hal Ketchum. He's the one with the sort of long grey hair and very dark eyebrows.

This gag is on two levels. There is the egg you have mentioned, referencing Lethal Weapon, but I think the robber is also supposed to be the guy they were just talking about who is thought to be dead.

Yes, in fact the film was directed by Richard Donner (who directed all 4 Lethal Weapons). This was one reasoning for the Lethal Weapon joke.

No, the "Coreys" suck. Corey Feldman has some classic 80's movies like Lost Boys, and the Goonies. Not to mention he's one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. By the way, anyone notice that Corey Haim never really grew up, he just looks like an overweight teenage nerd.
