Twister Easter Egg - Tribute to Stanley Kubrick
In the movie, if you'll notice the characters names; one is called Stanley and another is called Kubrick. Notice when the drive-in theater is hit by the twister, one of Kubrick's films is playing. It is "The Shining".
A reference to Stanley Kubrick.
