About Schmidt Easter Egg - Film Reference
In About Schmidt, after the scene where Warren Schmidt visits his old fraternity, there is a short clip of his RV passing a movie theatre. If you look at the marquee, you'll see that one of the films listed is Sideways. Sideways is Alexander Payne's film that was released this year (2004).
