"The Clash" play street trash who hassle Sandra Bernhardt. Martin Scorsese plays the stage director who laughs out loud at Rupert Pupkin's jokes. Martin's father sits at the bar when Pupkin stands on it to switch the channels to his television debut.

But all of those folks are credited!!

The Eegg?? Scorseses' mother plays Rupert's mother who shouts down the stairs at him to lower the noise level as he plays out his stand up fantasies. Another scene has her inquiring into what he's doing in the middle of the night. Again off camera and not credited. Martin puts her in all of his successful films, as well as his own cameos.

"Mom!! I gotta do this!!" says Rupert.
