Nightmare on Elm Street Easter Egg - Alternate Ending

1. From the main menu go to the "Special features" menu.
2. Then go to the "Welcome to primetime" menu.
3. Stand on the button "Special features" and press left on your remote, the picture of Freddy will be highlighted.
4. Click OK to see an alternate ending.

I tried to to the alternate ending egg, and it is non-existant! Unless you have to have a certain edition, but it doesn't state that you do. I went to the special features menu as instructed and there is no "WELCOME TO PRIMETIME" menu! Help!

I agree, there is no primetime feature in Nightmare on Elm Street. There is on the encyclopedia, but you need the boxset for that. I only know one way to get the alternate ending for sure, and that is to beat the labyrinth on the encyclopedia dvd. I hope that this is some help to you people seeking to see the alternate ending.

The only way you can get to this egg is if you have the region 2 dvd. The region 1 dvd has no special features on it, except for the jump to a death option. On the region 2 dvd it has all the special features for the first movie, which is the same features as the box set in region 1 on the 8th disc.
